Beautifully maintained period hotel. Very comfortable room, reliable facilities (including wifi), good breakfast, pleasant and helpful staff, a few minutes walk from train station, and from historic centre, I was sorry to leave.

Fantastic air-con - absolutely necessary in Lecce in July when we were there. It was great to have a swimming pool - managed to get in even though it wasn't heated! It would be lovely to have a heated pool but a lot of hotels, even package tour ones, don't seem to heat their pools. A shame. Great location - right next-door to the station which was very handy for travelling to other places such as Alberobello, Gallipoli and Otranto. Also there is a good cafe in the station and a little cafe outside the station where you can buy water and get a good cup of tea! Only about 10-minute walk to the historic centre where most people tend to go to eat and sight-see. Also there is a bus stop for local buses more or less outside the hotel. The hotel is quite small and most days it was very quiet at the pool so very relaxing.
Breakfast: the scrambled egg wasn't very appetising although it did taste ok on the one occasion I had it. Could have done with some toast but the rolls were very nice. Would have loved a kettle and cups to make tea but it wasn't so far to go and grab a cuppa at the local cafes. The mini-bar wasn't very cold. Not enough hangers in the room - I did ask for some more but there was a slight communication problem - in the end it didn't really matter.

The room was spacious, but the carpets definitely needed cleaning.

Staff totally incompetent and inadequate, they should be aware that stars and antiques do not make a good hotel.

The pool area provided a nice escape from the
Heat, and I appreciated the beautiful outdoor setting. The breakfast, while enjoyable, had limited options if you arrived late. The comfortable room was a joy, though the limited number of power outlets was a slight inconvenience.

The location was fantastic, very close to the center of old town, and the train station is only a block away.
I thought that a resturant was advertised, but there isn't one in the hotel. Wish the pools in Italy were heated.

This was a romantic old-fashioned hotel in a comfortable location. Staff were very professional and hard-working, and facilities were good here. I loved the a nice size room with a view of the terrace, safe plus bath tub.

Excellent room . Excellent location near station. Very helpful reception staff Giancarlo.
Scarce "extras" in a 4 star hotel , eg toiletries, coat hangers, writing paper (none) etc.

charming breakfast terrace moments
The hotel's location is a gem, just a short stroll to Lecce's historical center. Admiring the fine architectural charm while enjoying a well-stocked breakfast buffet was good.
The hotel shows signs of wear. The carpets feel tired, and some amenities, like the pool area, could use more attention and cleaning.

Just good value for money. Breakfast excellent
Did not like the coffee at the breakfast table. Coffee should be hot and fresh.here ..american coffee was served out of a glass bottle , became refreshed when it was empty. Actually tasted like mudwater.

Hotel was totally renovated only few years ago. We loved the quality of the tissues and counted around 20 chandeliers of Murano glass in the public areas.
With a gardener and a pool-man the hotel would be perfect
